The Frequent Renters Program Is Changing

We’re rebuilding our frequent renters program from the ground up to better recognize and reward our most loyal customers. While we put the finishing touches on the new program, here’s what you need to know.

What’s Happening Now

Rental counts are no longer being actively tracked toward frequent renter status.

Customers who currently qualify for a frequent renter discount will keep their status and discount until we launch the new program.

No action is needed. If you’re currently a frequent renter, your discount continues to apply automatically at checkout, just as it always has.

What’s Coming

Our new rewards program launches in the coming months, with several improvements:

  • Spend-based tiers. Status is determined by how much you rent in a calendar year. This better recognizes serious renters at every level.
  • Three clear tiers. Silver, Gold, and Platinum, each with automatic discounts on every rental.
  • Annual store credit. Every tier earns store credit each year, on top of your discount.
  • More benefits at higher tiers. Including exclusive promotions and 1-day rental periods on select gear.
  • Calendar-year clarity. Your tier for 2027 is determined by your 2026 rental spend, with no confusing rolling windows. Your status is locked in for the full year.

Why We’re Changing It

Our old program wasn’t the most ideal approach, and it left out some of the customers who are investing the most in their work and projects. The new program is designed to fix that, with rewards that scale with your actual investment in equipment rentals.

It’s also designed to be easier to understand. The new program uses an easy, tier-based structure: your spend during one year determines your tier for the next, with no surprise drops in status or daily recalculations.

What to Expect Next

  • Customers with frequent renter status continue to get their current discount until we launch the new rewards program.
  • Closer to launch, we’ll share full program details, including tier thresholds and the perks at each level.
  • Once the new program goes live, your tier will be calculated automatically based on your 2026 rental spend.
