My order had a security deposit, and I don’t see it refunded

When your order includes a security deposit, we place a temporary authorization hold on your card for the amount of the deposit. This is not an actual charge, and the funds are only collected if necessary due to damage or missing items.

Here’s what to know about this authorization:

  • Temporary Hold: The security deposit is a temporary hold to ensure coverage in case of missing or damaged items.
  • Void Upon Return: Once all items are returned in good condition, the hold is voided. You won’t see a refund because the funds are not charged—the temporary hold will simply disappear from your account. 
  • Timing: While some banks release the hold as soon as we void it, others may take 3-7 business days to process. Please Note: We have no control over how long your bank takes to release the hold and cannot expedite the process from our end.
