I canceled my rental—why do I still see a charge on my bank account?

When you place a rental with us, a pending charge (authorization hold) is applied to your card. We don’t capture the full transaction until your order is picked up or shipped out. If you cancel your order, we immediately release the funds on our end. However, it is up to your bank to process the release of the hold and make the funds available in your account.

  • Timing: While some banks release the hold immediately, others may take 3-7 business days to process the release. 
  • Expediting the Process: If you still see a pending transaction and would like to expedite the process, we recommend contacting your bank and informing them that the transaction has been voided by the merchant. Please Note: We have no control over how long your bank takes to process the release and are unable to expedite the process from our end.
