Why can't my rental switch to a longer-term rate?

An extension renews your existing rental. It does not convert your reservation to a longer-term rate. For example, a lens with a 7-day rate of $60 and a 14-day rate of $90 can't be converted by paying the $30 difference.

Frequently Asked Questions

When can't I extend?

If your gear is already reserved by another customer, an extension may not be available. If you don’t see the Extend option, please reach out for alternatives.

What if I'm past my due date?

The 15% discount no longer applies after your due date. Additional days are charged at the standard rental rate rather than the discounted extension rate.

What about extensions of 1 or 2 days?

For shorter extensions, we charge one-third of the 3-day rental rate for each extra day and apply the same discount rules based on whether you’re extending before or after your due date.
