How the deductible works

Your deductible is based on the rented item, not the individual part that was damaged. Included accessories are covered as part of the same rental unit, so there’s only one deductible for the entire unit.

What isn't covered?

Liquid damage, missing accessories, and lost or unreturned equipment aren't covered by Damage Protect. These situations are handled under the standard rental agreement.

How is the deductible calculated?

Your deductible is 10% of the rented item's retail value and applies once to the item and its included accessories as a single rental unit. You pay one deductible, not one per accessory.

What if the repair costs less than the deductible?

You only pay the actual repair cost, never more than your deductible. Damage Protect will never charge you more than the cost of the repair.
